Priced slightly high for an entry level home PTZ camera, it is well constructed. The optics perform reasonably well in daylight but lack lowlight clarity, degrading quickly as illumination decreases further. Pan, tilt and zoom speeds are excellent when controlled locally at the DVR but drag on my H.264 web interface. This camera would be acceptable for home security if it we not for one debilitating flaw; unlike most other PTZ cameras, the tilt range unbelievably is not a full 90 degrees! A fact the technical description conveniently omits. Unless the base is shimmed about 12 degrees on one side, the ground is the only thing visible when you zoom in, making the 10X zoom feature basically useless on this pan, “nearly” tilt and zoom camera. I do not recommend buying one unless this deficiency is remedied.

|Quality on a budget,
This PTZ wont rival the huge dogs but packs a excellent punch. One of the smallest on the market that I could find. Uses a excellent Sony CCD. Low light is fantastic, keeps things in affect yet still facility with IR spot lights. Quick PT. Zoom is all or nothing. Auto Focus. In shadows the low light mode kicks in and makes the colors seem washed out for areas that are not in the same shadow. Could not get it to go, RTFM did not help at all. Trial and error found that it uses Pelco P & D protocol. Solid metal case. 90 mount can be found at ezwatch-security-cameras com, but buy the camera here, much cheaper!

|Poor Quality, Poor Service,
This camera is fantastic unless you try to pan, tilt, or zoom it. With each function, video indicate is distorted and or lost. The seller has questioned us to ship it back for review at which point they “may replace it”. I questioned them to send a replacement first and they have refused. Terrible camera, terrible seller, DO NOT BUY.
