Very Disappointed at the moment. We are unpacking this kit and have now realized that some parts of this kit are used, here are two black power cables enclosed, both covered in dust, the kit only takes one of those cables…so we have a power cable that goes to something completely different. We see scuff marks all over NVR….The NVR and the cameras were all packed well but the box with the cables was not, cables were all in a bunch as if they had been used, with obvious wear that they have been used…we did not peacefulness the refurbished model. If you look at the photos below you can see the cords coated in dust and the dust in the NVR base

Very hard to set up. The instructions are not specific to my model. I was on hold for 30 minutes with customer service trying to resolve the issue of connecting to the NVR over the internet only to find out that this can not be done with my Airport Extreme. To access the NVR over the internet I had to buy another router. The online instructions and software downloads are not MAC user friendly. If I had it to do over again I would not hold this item.

This NVR is perfect, comes with 4 x 100ft Ethernet cables and the cameras are very nice. Despise the software interface, hence 4 stars. The software for viewing and replaying recording could be more user friendly.
