Delivery was quick. Setup took some time, finding the best path for the cables thru my house. Once that was done wiring for me was simple, as I do this for my job. I also have computer skills for 30 years. The cameras did not want to grow on my TV, the firmware needed to be updated. Once the firmware was updated the cameras came up and installation was complete. Now to tweek the setting to my liking was a snap. This is not for the faint of hearted the installation. You need skills for installation and computer skills for setup. Excellent Luck……..

So far a waste of time and money. Tech support is a craps shoot. First guy was a total moron and I swear he was reading the instructions for the first time. He kept running circles with his questions. In total, two hours wasted. Second guy was on it. 15 minutes and he identified that the NVR was malfunctioning. Now waiting on a replacement.

Do Not buy Q-SEE, December 11, 2014

I bought this manufactured goods in May 2013 and it was broken after 8 months.
The internal camera HUB died, it is a POE hub designed to support the IP/POE cameras.
Manuals are extremely confusing.
Software is also extremely confusing.
RMA process is a joke –
Customer support is terrible – expect to waste 4 hours of your life before you give up and go crazy listening to their “on-hold” music which had to have been designed to encourage you to hang up. Try their support line yourself before you buy. CALL 877-998-3440. prompt 1 – and test how long you will be on hold. I have never really talked to anyone. I have wasted a total of 7 hours of my life in 3 separate attempts.
Please avoid QSEE products.
