Fantastic addition to security logic,
When I set up a video surveillance logic to protect the entrances and windows to my photo studio, I noticed that the DVR I bought had a link of audio inputs. This mic looked perfect for the task, so I ordered it and installed it right outside my door. Now I can hear everything going on outside on the road, as well as watch it.
The mic comes with a 60-foot cable and a power supply. It produces line level output so you can hook it up to pretty much anything.
The audio quality is crisp and clear with excellent dynamic range.
Here are no mounting fasteners included with the mic — so I simply dabbed a small bed of glue on the ceiling surface, and wedged the mic to it. Worked like a charm.
The mic and cable are black — for many applications, a white affect would be less obtrusive — perhaps Q-SEE would consider coming out with a white version.
My only real complaint is that the connectors are large, which means that when installing it through a wall or ceiling, you have to drill a hole huge enough to accommodate the large RCA and power connector. Use of a smaller connector would allocate the mic to be installed with a smaller hole.

It facility but,
The sound quality is pretty terrible. Has a constant high leaning background whine. Another mic I have on the same dvr doesnt have this problem so I know its the mic. It facility though, but I dont reckon its worth the price.
